BRAD (Romania) 21-26 July 2012 - INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON THE ENVIRONMENT ATTENDED BY THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF RUSSIA AND ROMANIA: with Prof NICOLA LIMARDO REPRESENTING ITALY.

Natural radiation, the strength of which is constantly growing, is increasingly being considered as a primary source of diseases, including degenerative pathologies; so much so as to constitute one of the fundamental subjects dealt with during an International Congress on environmental problems, which was held in Romania from 21 to 26 July 2012. The congress was also attended by a delegation for the Political Strategies of Strasburg, concerned with environmental modification and the phenomenon of the aurora borealis, which has recently been undergoing extraordinary changes. The Universities present at the Congress included the most prestigious and cutting-edge in the sector of research into radiation, such as the Academy of Sciences of Russia and of Romania, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi in Romania and “Babes Bolyai” University of Chuj-Napoca, also in Romania. Representing Italy in the sector of scientific research was Prof Nicola Limardo of Novara, a former lecturer in environmental medicine at “Jean Monnet” University in Brussels and at the courses in Sports Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Siena. Prof Limardo is currently a lecturer accredited in Italy by the Ministry of Health for ECM vocational courses in the medical and environmental sector, and he is also a pioneer in research into natural radiation and the latest-generation protection systems (see the website www.geoprotex.it). The Italian researcher has highlighted the relationship between the dose of natural radiation present in many very sick people and the constant increase of some radionuclides coming from under the ground; an increase which, according to some scientists, could be caused by the Earth’s interaction with cosmic radiation and waves (an increase of the Shumann wave, an escalation in the gamma energy of quasars, etc.), as well as by the Earth’s interaction with solar radiation. Prof Limardo also carried out practical tests on some volunteers: after having identified gamma radiation in the ground, he positioned the volunteers over the radiation and subsequently, with a rapid control test, verified an immediate reaction at the level of the thyroid (hypothermia), a typical disturbance that occurs in individuals subjected to the action of natural radiation.
